What you will do

• Analyze and map current Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows to identify bottlenecks and manual inefficiencies.
• Design and implement streamlined processes to reduce cycle times and improve accuracy.
• Support the rollout of AI initiatives, including automated invoice data extraction and intelligent workflow routing.
• Act as a liaison between the accounting team and technical developers to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Perform core AP operations, including invoice processing and auditing employee Travel & Expense reports.
• Assist with month-end close activities and general controllership duties.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work from Austin, TX.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with developers regarding system architectures and automation.
• Analytical mindset focused on improving processes through technology.
• High attention to detail when dealing with complex financial data.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Experience with expense management platforms like Navan.
