Lead Regulatory Engineer

TL;DR

Lead Regulatory Engineer (Regulatory Compliance): Performing code reviews and on-site evaluations of prefabricated modular units with an accent on complex electrical and mechanical systems. Location: Remote (US). Candidate must be located close to an airport due to travel requirements.

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 + 20% target bonus.

What you will do

• Perform code reviews, plan reviews, and on-site evaluations of prefabricated modular units with complex systems.
• Provide technical expertise on equipment applications covered by installation codes and standards.
• Resolve complex code and certification related issues.
• Represent the company at meetings of outside organizations and deliver technical presentations.
• Participate in high-magnitude code and regulatory related projects.

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of experience in performing plan reviews and model code inspections.
• Expertise in US electrical, mechanical, building, and fire codes.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong communication skills.
