What you will do

• Build AI native systems that design, build, and test aerospace products using AWS, Java, React, and Python.
• Develop and maintain production-ready REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with the Emerging Technology Team to integrate software engineering perspectives into aerospace design and analysis.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows using Gitlab or Github.
• Apply technical expertise to ensure the quality and safety of human spaceflight systems.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience writing production code.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and TypeScript as primary coding languages.
• Strong understanding of modern database systems (RDBMS, NoSQL, columnar, or IMDB).
• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing in Java or React.
• Must meet U.S. Export Control regulations (U.S. Person status required).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Angular.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with GenAI state-of-the-art tools, including agentic harnesses, MCP, and knowledge graphs.
