What you will do

• Develop and maintain software features and modules for the Hyperlift Stars Platform.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging workflows.
• Collaborate with product and technical leadership to deliver high-quality, data-intensive software.
• Contribute to database schema design in PostgreSQL and develop REST APIs.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, and post-release support.
• Engage in peer code reviews to ensure engineering quality and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in Elixir/Phoenix or Python/Flask.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerized applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Kubernetes).
• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
