What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Product Managers on technical roadmaps and architectural blueprints.
• Build and integrate Generative AI features and applications, partnering with ML and Data Science teams.
• Establish engineering best practices for code quality, security, testing, DevOps, observability, and automation.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership across engineering teams.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across software platforms and development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience building scalable Java systems.
• Expertise in modern Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, distributed systems, and microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI applications and concepts including RAG and MCP.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar platforms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Temporal workflow orchestration and Spring AI.
• Open-source or community contributions related to AI, Java, microservices, or cloud tools.
