What you will do
- Design and conduct measurements to characterize power bus performance and validate robust operation strategies.
- Develop methods to reliably expand the performance envelope while considering cross-functional impacts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate and validate software on robotic hardware.
- Perform hands-on debugging of embedded systems using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Troubleshoot system-level integration issues and analyze performance logs to document root causes.
- Maintain development environments and version control workflows for embedded software releases.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Senior) or a recent graduate in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10-week internship availability (1–2 terms preferred).
- Strong understanding of battery design and operation considerations.
- Strong proficiency with the Linux operating system.
- Deep electrical understanding of systems and components.
Nice to have
- Understanding of motor control theory.
- Experience with power systems simulation and architecture optimization.
- Proficiency with Python.
