Salary: $197,000 – $315,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead a team of electrical engineers responsible for LiDAR, Compute, and other hardware product development.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to define HW architecture and deliver products meeting strict performance metrics.
• Guide the team through building, integrating, testing, and debugging hardware using advanced lab equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Develop and mature electrical engineering processes adhering to safety, execution, and quality requirements.
• Partner with mechanical, operations, and validation teams to transition high-quality electrical designs to manufacturing.
• Coordinate with program management, supply chain, and NPI to qualify suppliers, parts, and manage project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of industry experience developing complex electrical hardware.
• 4+ years of direct personnel leadership of electrical engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Expertise in system architecture, signal and power integrity, high-speed signaling, and analog electronics.
• Ability to analyze systems for balancing electro-mechanical and EMI/EMC constraints.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for schematic design and PCB layout management.

Nice to have

• Experience with LiDAR or Compute hardware products.
• Knowledge of automotive safety frameworks (ISO26262) and qualification processes.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Programming and scripting skills in C++, Python, or equivalent.
• Experience with FPGA/ASIC design.
