What you will do

• Design and build electrical systems including PCBs, cable systems, and sensors for autonomous robots.
• Develop and manage projects covering power systems, communications hardware, and customer payloads.
• Rapidly prototype and derisk high-risk items through iterative design and testing.
• Design and execute test plans to ensure reliability in compound worst-case oceanic conditions.
• Collaborate with production teams to document and build first articles and scale production to 50+ units.
• Create technical documentation for board assembly and firmware development.

Requirements

• Proficiency in designing, building, and debugging electrical systems (PCBs, sensors).
• Experience using Altium Designer.
• Proven track record of producing electrical systems in quantities of 50+ units.
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee) due to export control laws.
• Able to obtain a security clearance.
• Must be independently authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
