What you will do

• Design and maintain the corporate financial model, transitioning it from Excel to Python-based infrastructure.
• Automate financial reporting and commentary workflows to accelerate insights delivery.
• Develop 3–6 month forward-looking forecasts to provide clear financial visibility to the business.
• Collaborate with Commercial GMs, Accounting, and Treasury on revenue, costs, and cash flow forecasting.
• Utilize AI tools like Claude and Cursor to build scalable, automated finance workflows.
• Present financial insights to senior stakeholders to drive actionable decisions.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City (Hybrid).
• Hands-on proficiency in Python for building models, scripts, and automation tools.
• Demonstrated experience building with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) is non-negotiable.
• 5–10 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or an analytically intensive role.
• Ability to operate independently and iterate quickly in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.

• Prior experience in fintech, payments, or a product-led company.
• Familiarity with building web-based applications or data pipelines.
