TL;DR

Systems Engineer (Engineering): Developing and maintaining engineering asset management programs for complex engineered systems with an accent on system readiness and lifecycle risk reduction. Location: Hybrid onsite in Mercury, NV (National Nuclear Test Site). United States citizenship is required.

Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain asset management programs for complex engineered systems to ensure performance throughout their lifecycle.
• Support configuration management and technical baseline activities.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, reliability, and supply chain teams to improve system readiness.
• Identify lifecycle risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support system turnover and overall operational readiness.
• Analyze equipment performance trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering or industrial experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, processing plants, utilities, or industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies.
• United States citizenship is mandatory.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and federal drug test.

Nice to have

• Experience with DOE, NNSA, LANL, LLNL, or NNSS.
• Active DOE clearance.
