Mid To Senior I&C Engineer (Nuclear)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain instrument datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
• Support PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, and SIS integration activities.
• Review vendor submittals, control panel documentation, and factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures.
• Conduct loop checks, calibrations, functional testing, and troubleshooting during commissioning.
• Coordinate I&C interfaces with process, electrical, mechanical, and cybersecurity teams.
• Perform field walkdowns and resolve installation issues through design change packages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Chemical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in I&C engineering, automation, or regulated industrial environments (Nuclear/DOE preferred).
• Hands-on experience with controls integration, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, logic diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Must be a US citizen to meet government contract and security clearance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Emerson, or similar control platforms.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Active DOE L or Q clearance.
