What you will do

• Manage environmental permitting and compliance efforts for utility projects.
• Coordinate project development tasks, including consultant deliverables and regulatory reviews.
• Prepare and review licensing and permit application materials.
• Provide technical support for data management, stakeholder communication, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during construction and restoration activities.
• Review environmental reports and surveys, including stream and wetland delineations.

Requirements

• Minimum BS in Environmental Engineering, Science, Ecology, Biology, or related field.
• Knowledge of project siting and regulatory compliance, preferably in the utility industry.
• Familiarity with Maine Department of Environmental Protection regulations and US Army Corps Section 404 permitting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to analyze data, draw inferences, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Must be able to travel within the State of Maine as required.
