What you will do

• Support energy audits and carbon reduction assessments for various building types.
• Perform energy benchmarking and detailed utility analysis.
• Assist senior engineers with energy, decarbonization, and retro-commissioning studies.
• Conduct energy modeling using eQuest and IESVE software.
• Perform site visits and data collection to document existing building conditions.
• Develop energy calculations and economic analyses for low-carbon retrofit solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 0–2 years of professional engineering experience.
• Basic knowledge of New York City climate and carbon-related local laws.
• Interest in building decarbonization and sustainable design.
• Willingness to obtain EIT certification within 1–2 years.

Nice to have

• EIT Certification.
• Prior coursework focused on the built environment and decarbonization.
