Salary: $207,600 – $302,300 USD

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day operations of the privacy compliance program, defining priorities and tracking KPIs.
• Develop and improve privacy review processes, including data mapping, ROPA, and privacy-by-design initiatives.
• Draft and negotiate data protection provisions in commercial contracts, including DPAs and SCCs.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of global privacy and AI laws on business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver privacy training and awareness programs.
• Advise on privacy and cybersecurity issues as part of incident response teams.

Requirements

• J.D. from a top-tier law school and active state bar membership required.
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience, with 5+ years focused on privacy compliance programs.
• Deep knowledge of global privacy frameworks including GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA.
• Experience with cross-border data transfer mechanisms and privacy management tooling.
• Strong understanding of cloud and software technology legal issues.
• Ability to influence without authority and communicate complex regulatory concepts to executive leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience working for a company offering platform services to business customers.
• Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT.
