What you will do

• Collaborate with commercial teams to assess risks and negotiate complex client contracts regarding Security, Privacy, and AI.
• Partner with product teams to support business objectives and provide compliance advice aligned with global laws.
• Guide data owners on AI reviews, Privacy and Security by Design, and Data Mapping.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and Marketing reviews.
• Explain complex legal concepts related to AI and security to non-specialist stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a sophisticated technology company advising on AI, cybersecurity, and privacy law.
• Fully qualified lawyer with a proven track record in negotiating privacy and security issues in SaaS/IaaS agreements.
• IAPP certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT) required.
• IAPP certification in Artificial Intelligence required.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to a non-specialist audience.
• Must be based in the US (Massachusetts).

Nice to have

• Privacy Law Specialist or Fellow in Information Privacy Certification.
• ISACA Cloud or Security certifications (CISSP preferred).
• Extensive expertise in crafting and refining template and backup legal language.
