What you will do

• Develop plumbing and fire protection concepts, construction documents, and engineering reports for new builds and renovations.
• Design specialized piping systems, including compressed gas for industrial and medical clients.
• Perform fire protection hydraulic calculations using industry software programs.
• Interact with clients to analyze design options and provide cost-benefit comparisons.
• Assist in proposal writing to initiate new business and maintain client relationships.
• Manage project financial performance and scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Science.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Buffalo, NY.
• Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
• New York Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) is preferred.
• Experience with Revit or AutoCAD is preferred.
