Salary: $115,000–$184,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute Texas-based media strategies to drive proactive coverage and long-term credibility.
• Cultivate and maintain a robust network of regional and national reporters covering technology, business, and policy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for media visits in Texas, delivering a high-quality reporter experience.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, and government relations to align on messaging and announcements.
• Prepare and support C-level spokespeople for media interviews and press events.
• Create tailored media materials including press releases, briefing documents, and talking points.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in communications (agency or in-house) with a track record of driving earned coverage.
• Established network of relationships with reporters covering business, technology, or transportation.
• Experience acting as a company spokesperson and providing media training to C-level executives.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear and compelling narratives.
• Experience working cross-functionally to manage multi-stakeholder communications processes.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomous vehicles, transportation, logistics, or technology.
• Crisis communications experience in high-scrutiny industries.
