Intern - Corporate Communication

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Interview stakeholders and conduct research for communication initiatives.
• Create original content for Viva Engage, emails, social media, company intranet articles, external articles, and video scripts.
• Develop messaging that supports organizational goals and employee engagement.
• Present information and communicate with business leaders.
• Work independently and collaboratively on communication projects.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Writing, Public Relations, or a related field, with at least one semester remaining at the internship start.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Ability to manage details, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.
• Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support.

Nice to have

• Junior or senior academic classification.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot in daily workflows.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, content generation, responsible AI, ethics, and data protection.
