Internal Communications Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in Hawthorne, California or the Bay Area, California; remote and hybrid work are not considered. Travel to company locations may be required for less than 10% of the time.

Salary: $175,000–$255,000 annually, Level 4, plus potential bonuses, long-term incentives, and stock purchase opportunities.

What you will do

• Advise senior executives on communication gaps, opportunities, and employee engagement plans.
• Lead change communications for company-wide and cross-division initiatives.
• Build a connected culture across divisions, locations, and newly joined teams.
• Develop leadership speaking programs across live, filmed, and other formats.
• Own and scale the company intranet, communication standards, templates, and channel strategy.
• Manage crisis communications, internal announcements, AI-enabled communication initiatives, and measurement of communication effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in business or organizational communications.
• Experience in internal communications, change management, employee engagement, or communications across multiple business units or locations.
• Strong writing, strategic thinking, decision-making, negotiation, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Experience using AI tools to draft, produce, personalize, or scale communications.
• Must be eligible to work under U.S. ITAR requirements as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible authorization recipient.

Nice to have

• 10 or more years of experience in communications or public relations.
• Experience supporting change management and producing leadership content or internal communication campaigns.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.
