What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of product designers focusing on agentic and AI-native experiences.
• Define and maintain the interaction pattern language for agent behavior, including permission, disclosure, and error recovery.
• Use code and rapid prototyping to pressure-test and define agent behaviors and system interactions.
• Establish reusable primitives and components that the broader design organization can build upon.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to shape the roadmap and high-level product strategy.
• Represent design's perspective in senior cross-functional strategy conversations and workshops.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product design experience with a recent track record of managing and growing designers.
• Experience defining behavior-based design pattern languages or complex systems.
• Familiarity with agent-based or AI-assisted experience design, including context windows and autonomy tradeoffs.
• Comfort using code as a design tool for prototyping and exploring system behaviors.
• Strong systems thinking and experience representing design in senior strategy conversations.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• Background in multi-agent systems, orchestration, or workflow automation.
• Experience with canvas-based or spatial interfaces.
• History of shaping 0→1 products or platform-level capabilities.
• Public writing or thought leadership on AI-native design.
