What you will do

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate execution across engineering, operations, planning, quality, supply chain, and R&D teams.
• Establish project governance, tracking tools, and reporting mechanisms to improve visibility into priorities and resource constraints.
• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and facilitate stakeholder reviews and decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements and change management activities to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Rochester, NY.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, project management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, medical device, or industrial equipment environments.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects involving technical and operational teams.
• Strong understanding of project management principles including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification.
• Knowledge of medical device standards, including ISO13485 and MDSAP requirements.
• Experience working with ERP, MRP, or project portfolio management systems.
