What you will do

• Underwrite complex individual life insurance cases with face amounts typically exceeding $5M.
• Analyze medical, financial, and non-medical data to make sound underwriting decisions.
• Provide second signature support and technical guidance to junior team members.
• Partner with internal sales and distribution teams to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with independent agents and brokerage general agencies (BGAs).
• Contribute to team development through training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of life insurance underwriting experience.
• Proven ability to underwrite large, complex cases and impaired risks.
• Experience working within the independent agent or brokerage (BGA) distribution channel.
• Demonstrated decision-making authority on high face amounts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
