What you will do

• Assist underwriters by obtaining credit reports and financial statements from agents.
• Respond to inquiries regarding coverage, renewals, and billing adjustments within granted authority levels.
• Process renewals, riders, cancellations, and manual bond issuances including OFAC screening.
• Manage account billing activity and coordinate with the billing department on collections.
• Maintain clear communication with internal staff and agents to ensure underwriting standards are met.
• Handle incoming calls, mail, and email inquiries within established service timelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance.
• Proficiency in automated underwriting systems and desktop tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Short Hills, New Jersey.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
