What you will do

• Analyze and evaluate risk exposure for new small business accounts in assigned territories.
• Quote, accept, decline, and modify risks based on underwriting guidelines and delegated authority.
• Collaborate with agents, regional underwriters, and agency management specialists to grow a profitable book of business.
• Provide responsive support to agents regarding coverage, billing, and policy adjustments.
• Monitor premium growth and conduct profit analysis using electronic reporting tools.
• Travel within the assigned territory (approximately 10-20% of the time) to visit agent offices.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of underwriting and/or marketing experience.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to travel.
• College degree preferred.
• Proficiency in using automated underwriting and email systems.
• Ability to develop and execute proactive marketing strategies.
