Lead Software Engineer (PRIIP Cloud)

What you will do

• Own the technical architecture, roadmap, and end-to-end delivery of the PRIIP Cloud platform.
• Design and build user interfaces, backend services, REST APIs, integrations, data processing capabilities, databases, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Lead engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, reusable components, and engineering automation.
• Own production operations, reliability, monitoring, observability, alerting, incident management, capacity planning, runbooks, and service restoration.
• Translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and lead recruitment, onboarding, career development, and adoption of AI-assisted software development practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant full-stack development experience.
• Previous experience as a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, Principal Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Proven experience owning production systems and supporting live business-critical platforms.
• Strong experience designing and building cloud-native distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React or modern web frameworks, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures. Java and Kotlin experience is desirable.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience working in financial services or another highly regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with structured products, equity-linked products, OTC derivatives, regulatory documentation, PRIIPs, or financial reporting platforms.
• Experience working with quantitative analysts, product specialists, and regulatory subject matter experts.
• Experience supporting SaaS platforms with demanding operational and customer support requirements.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, and Keycloak.
• Experience with Datadog, Grafana, Elastic, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tooling.
• Experience implementing AI-assisted software development practices.
