What you will do

• Own the technical architecture and end-to-end delivery of the PRIIP Cloud platform.
• Develop full-stack capabilities across frontend, backend services, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Manage production reliability, including observability, alerting, and incident management.
• Collaborate with Product and Compliance SMEs to translate complex regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong full-stack background.
• Previous experience in a leadership role such as Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or Principal Engineer.
• Proven track record of owning production systems and building cloud-native distributed systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in London, UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of structured products, OTC derivatives, or PRIIPs regulations.
• Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and SaaS platforms.
• Expertise in OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, and Keycloak.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
