Software Engineer - Localisation (C#/.NET)

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship changes across backend services, APIs, and Angular interfaces used by venues.
• Build extensible patterns for regional fiscal rules and compliance requirements across new markets.
• Lead integrations with third-party fiscal and certification providers, including contract definition, edge-case handling, failure planning, and provider communication.
• Collaborate with SRE to monitor system performance, identify potential issues, triage compliance alerts, and fix root causes.
• Share knowledge through code reviews, pairing, and feedback while working with the PM to break vague regulatory requirements into shippable pieces.

Requirements

• Solid mid-level or senior experience building and shipping full-stack software in a SaaS product company.
• Deep backend experience with C# and .NET, plus enough Angular or TypeScript experience to work across the stack.
• Deep knowledge of cloud patterns, application performance, and database performance across varying workflows and workloads.
• Experience building detail-sensitive integrations with third-party systems, such as payments, tax, invoicing, or compliance systems.
• Ability to turn vague requirements, including new-country tax rules, into shipped software.
• Ability to work effectively asynchronously by documenting clearly, unblocking independently, and working without constant check-ins.
• Curiosity about technology and AI, with proficiency and willingness to use AI tools to automate repetitive work and improve impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with European fiscal rules.
• French or German language skills.
