Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is building an automated laboratory that enables AI agents to run biology experiments for biopharmas, AI labs, and techbio companies.

What you will do

• Build LabOS, the internal software platform coordinating experiment scheduling, execution, data capture, and results processing.
• Create interfaces and APIs that give scientists and AI agents real-time visibility into laboratory operations.
• Build AI agents and tooling to automate decisions across protocol design, experiment execution, and troubleshooting failed results.
• Turn proprietary laboratory hardware into API-controllable devices that software and AI agents can operate programmatically.
• Design scheduling systems coordinating dozens of laboratory instruments with complex dependency chains.
• Own large product areas and make decisions about what to build in a small, high-impact team.

Requirements

• Production full-stack experience working across the stack.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Node, and Postgres.
• Experience shipping products, observing user behavior, iterating, and shipping again.
• Ability to work from goals rather than detailed specifications, scope problems, prioritize solutions, and create implementation plans independently.
• Strong use of AI tools combined with enough independent engineering experience to assess quality.
• Curiosity about biology and enthusiasm for running real experiments in the physical world.
