Software Engineer (AM Mosaic Technology): Building scalable full-stack trading, settlement, analytics, and reporting solutions for global liquidity clients with an accent on low-latency distributed systems, microservices, and API development. What you will do
- Design critical components and oversee implementation of new features across the full technology stack.
- Build customer-focused products with a global, cross-functional team.
- Design cloud and on-premise systems for performance, longevity, and scalability.
- Develop SDLC documentation, reusable templates, engineering patterns, and controls.
- Conduct code and system design reviews while establishing software quality standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and communicate with engineering, business, and leadership stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience designing and implementing low-latency, high-throughput, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working with Agile operating models in a fast-changing environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Rx* variants, Kafka or similar messaging technologies, and the Spring Framework family.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, low-latency services, NoSQL, and relational databases.
- Experience with AWS, React, Angular, or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with external-facing websites and client or user-facing products.
