Distribution Manager (Operations)

Location: 2381 Mason Ave, Daytona Beach, Florida, United States; onsite distribution operations.

Salary: $71,000–$108,000 USD annually, plus an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end operational execution across distribution, fulfillment, inventory control, material flow, production support, purchasing, planning, and shipping.
• Set operating priorities, align resources, resolve execution gaps, and manage performance commitments.
• Build, coach, and develop leadership and associate teams through hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Manage safety, compliance, labor planning, capacity, budgets, productivity targets, and operating expenses.
• Improve KPIs covering safety, service, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, fill rate, shipments, customer experience, and cost.
• Drive Lean, 5S, Kaizen, standard work, workflow, space, inventory, and material-flow improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing support, operations leadership, materials management, or related operations roles.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, or cross-functional operational teams in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or fulfillment environments.
• Experience leading safe operations and maintaining compliance with OSHA and applicable safety and environmental requirements.
• Experience with inventory control, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, material flow, labor planning, and operational performance management.
• Working knowledge of WMS, WCS, ERP, SAP, reporting tools, and operational dashboards, with strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean, TPS, 5S, Kaizen, standard work, or similar continuous improvement methods.
• Experience in automated distribution environments, warehouse slotting, or conveyor systems.
• APICS certification.
