Distribution Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Millbury, Massachusetts, USA; onsite distribution role with varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

What you will do

• Lead distribution and shipping shifts to ensure complete, on-time orders and compliance with quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Manage team priorities, staffing, inventory accountability, and cost efficiency while delivering People, Quality, Safety, Service, and Cost KPIs.
• Coach, onboard, train, and develop associates while promoting ownership, accountability, engagement, and problem-solving.
• Identify operational issues, assign corrective actions, follow up on completion, and escalate matters to department leadership when needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners and incoming shift leaders to maintain customer service and operational continuity.
• Use tablets and applications including Rever, Shift Guides, and Intelex to support distribution processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• At least 2 years of distribution supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
