Materials & Distribution Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States of America

Salary: $93,400–$135,400 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States of America candidates.

What you will do

• Drive business strategy and strategic initiatives involving suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Own complex programs, monitor partnership performance, and manage high-value regional or global vendors.
• Lead large cross-functional projects and implement solutions affecting regional and worldwide operations.
• Manage supplier performance meetings, monthly performance reporting, and business requirements for medium- to high-complexity contracts.
• Plan materials, equipment utilization, storage, and material handling requirements for new production lines.
• Ensure compliance, error-free operations, continuous improvement, and integration of physical and systematic processes.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 10+ years of experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience with materials management, inventory control, supply chain planning, procurement, purchasing, and warehousing.
• Knowledge of ERP, SAP applications, data analysis, KPIs, material requirements planning, and lean manufacturing.
• Ability to lead large cross-functional projects, make strategic decisions, and mentor individual contributors.
