Warehouse Distribution Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics operations for the facility.
• Manage and develop salaried and hourly employees, with more than 50 direct reports.
• Oversee inbound materials, outbound finished goods, warehouse utilization, inventory flow, and FIFO practices.
• Coordinate third-party transportation providers, external warehouses, and logistics partners.
• Manage departmental budgets, operating expenses, productivity reporting, and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety, food safety, quality, regulatory, and company policy compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience managing warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics activities.
• Experience leading salaried and hourly employees in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP or an equivalent ERP system and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP requirements, and food safety standards.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of leadership experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or highly regulated manufacturing experience.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with third-party logistics providers, transportation carriers, external warehouses, budgets, capital projects, or operational improvement programs.
