Warehouse Manager (Shipping and Conveyance)

Location: Del Rey, California, USA; onsite plant operations

Base compensation: $100,000–$135,000 per year with 10% bonus potential.

What you will do

• Lead plant shipping, conveyance, and inventory teams to maintain efficient material flow, storage, and on-time outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with plant management, customer service, sales, and production to ensure materials are available in the right quantities and locations.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, routing, documentation, delivery timelines, and customer shipment issues.
• Oversee inventory locations, cycle counts, ERP accuracy, reporting, and waste reduction.
• Develop operating procedures, budgets, process flows, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and manage team performance while maintaining food and plant safety standards.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of shipping and plant logistics experience.
• Experience with food safety and audits.
• Proficiency with Oracle or another ERP system and Excel.
• Experience in process mapping, value stream mapping, and process improvement.
• Lean/Six Sigma training and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
