What you will do

• Perform structural and line design analysis using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Caisson as the go-to expert for modeling and analysis.
• Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Review and design pole foundations for new installations and existing infrastructure.
• Coordinate with field teams for construction support, issue resolution, inspections, and emergency restoration.
• Maintain design specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide leadership, mentor junior engineers in transmission engineering practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in civil/structural engineering.
• California Civil PE License preferred.
• Seven or more years of technical experience in transmission and/or distribution line engineering design.
• Experience with Electric Utility Distribution and Transmission Systems using California GO95, NESC, and ASCE codes.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, AutoCAD.
