Sales Operations Support

Location: Hybrid role in Surry Hills, Australia

What you will do

• Convert estimates into accurate customer and purchase orders and follow up on outstanding estimates and orders.
• Prepare ageing reports, import files, and cross-reference data to support real-time processing and system alignment.
• Coordinate interstate shipments, including large sample orders from Sydney, with logistics teams.
• Support made-to-order and custom quotes for rugs and MDPs while collaborating with Finance, Logistics, Sales, and IT.
• Conduct customer credit checks for payment terms and work with Herman Miller Finance on compliance and risk mitigation.
• Support showroom operations by assisting visitors, managing sample and supply inventory, maintaining displays, and coordinating cleaning and external vendors.

Requirements

• Five years of administrative and customer service experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience providing high-level in-person service in a showroom environment.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics coordination or supply chain support.
