Accountant (VFX)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments in a timely manner.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports, journal entries, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support payroll processing and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking.
• Collaborate with production, operations, HR, and leadership teams on financial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in entertainment, media, VFX, animation, or creative industries.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Legal authorization to work in the country of residence (North America).

Nice to have

• CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification.
