What you will do

• Manage subprojects for sensor development, breadboards, and optical instruments in phases B1/B2/C.
• Coordinate between development, procurement, product assurance, and AIT teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to track progress and ensure efficient development cycles.
• Acquire external funding to support project activities.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and manage internal/external stakeholders.
• Report regularly to project management on status, progress, and trade-offs.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Proven track record in space product development and instrument programs.
• Experience in building industrial consortia and technical leadership of project teams.
• Understanding of Earth observation mission constraints and the balance between schedule, budget, and quality.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Proficiency in English and German.
