Practice Manager (Veterinary)

Location: Onsite veterinary practices in Salt Lake City and Herriman, Utah, and Arvada, Denver, Littleton, and Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

What you will do

• Manage practice operations, policies, procedures, safety, compliance, and standards of care.
• Lead staff scheduling, operational performance, reviews, mentoring, and career development.
• Support regional and corporate leadership and coordinate continuous practice-team development.
• Oversee inventory cycle counts, pharmacy holdings, equipment maintenance, and clinic upkeep.
• Engage with clients, provide empathetic support, and resolve complaints or conflicts.
• Act as the PIMS administrative super-user and support team members in using practice technology.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Practice Manager in a veterinary practice.
• Experience mentoring and leading team members.
• Strong client communication, empathy, conflict-resolution, verbal and written communication, observational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to meet the qualifications for the CVPM designation.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 80% of a shift and lift up to 50–70 pounds, with occasional team lifting of heavier items.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-starting environment; some travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Successful completion and current certification in the CVPM program.
• Two years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines.
