What you will do

• Diagnose and treat pets with illnesses and injuries and counsel clients on pet care.
• Model medical excellence for a team of two to four doctors and ensure medical procedures and guidelines are followed.
• Mentor veterinarians on clinical skills, client satisfaction, teamwork, medical quality, record keeping, and production.
• Lead regular doctor check-ins and support professional development.
• Partner with the Member Experience Manager and Head Nurse to promote collaboration, communication, continuous learning, and improvement.
• Manage controlled substances and review orders for drugs and supplies while maintaining DEA logbooks.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent.
• Active state and DEA licenses required.
• 8+ years of veterinary experience.
• Experience managing a team and interest in mentoring veterinarians.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional approach.
• Commitment to high medical standards, ethical practice, and teamwork.
