Practice Team Veterinarian

Location: On-site in Burlington, United States

Salary: $195,000–$210,000 base per year, plus equity, bonus, and 12–20% quarterly variable compensation based on individual and practice performance.

What you will do

• Diagnose and treat pets, counsel clients, and serve as the clinical contact for escalated medical concerns.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 1–5 veterinarians, including regular performance and development check-ins.
• Partner with medical, talent, operations, nursing, and practice leadership on hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coverage, and team collaboration.
• Ensure service accessibility and uphold clinical, hospitality, and member experience standards.
• Monitor practice financial performance and work with leadership toward budget and revenue targets.
• Manage controlled substances and supplies while ensuring compliance with DEA, OSHA, medical protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent, with an active state and DEA license.
• 5+ years of veterinary experience.
• Experience managing a team and mentoring veterinarians.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to high standards of medicine, professional ethics, teamwork, growth, and innovation.
