Director, Data Integration Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, requiring work onsite 2 to 3 days per week at hirify.global sites in New York City or Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Travel to hirify.global offices, vendor offices, and team meeting locations may be required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States by any employer.

Annual base salary: $176,600–$294,300, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, operate, and monitor data pipelines connecting enterprise systems with Medical Affairs AI and analytics platforms.
• Develop reusable extraction, transformation, and data-serving patterns for AI solutions.
• Implement RAG pipelines, vector databases, GraphRAG, and other AI/ML data-access patterns with Solution Architecture.
• Ensure AI and LLM systems receive accurately labeled, governed, timely, and quality-monitored data.
• Apply masking, tokenization, and de-identification to PI/PII before sensitive data reaches AI-accessible stores.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, product management, UX, and data strategy stakeholders to deliver data integration alongside product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering or application integration experience, including data pipelines and APIs.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on ETL/ELT pipeline development experience.
• Experience with Snowflake or equivalent modern data platforms, API design, REST/GraphQL, event-driven or streaming integrations, and CI/CD.
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, GraphRAG, AI/ML data-access patterns, data governance, cataloging, and PI/PII protection.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; U.S. visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical, life sciences, Medical Affairs, commercial life sciences, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Experience with Veeva CRM, Salesforce Life Sciences, Marketing Cloud, API gateways, middleware, or event-streaming platforms.
• Advanced technical degree.
