Compensation: $165,000–$221,000 total compensation

What you will do

• Develop data pipelines and ETL tasks with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers.
• Translate product requirements into actionable project plans and technical deliverables.
• Establish data architecture practices that can be scheduled, automated, replicated, and reused across teams.
• Build infrastructure that facilitates data extraction and business insights.
• Partner with data leadership to identify and advance meaningful projects across the commercial organization.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience as a data engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
• Expertise in Python and fluency in SQL, with experience developing maintainable data pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience designing data pipelines from end to end, including technology selection, implementation, testing, and rollout.
• Knowledge of APIs, streaming, multithreading, asynchronous systems, and their monitoring and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of deploying and monitoring ML/AI applications, with strong communication and product judgment.
