Senior Hardware/Software Design Engineer (FPGA)

Location: Onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; applicants must currently reside in the United States.

Salary: USD $114,110–$228,221 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, construct, and test FPGA hardware and software processing components for RF communication and collection subsystems.
• Implement DSP algorithms and related signal-processing components in FPGA hardware.
• Develop FPGA RTL, perform timing closure, and optimize hardware resource usage.
• Integrate FPGA implementations with existing Linux codebases and system-level software.
• Bridge FPGA and software-stack connections and document technical designs.
• Lead technical design efforts for mission-critical subsystem solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Strong FPGA coding experience and knowledge of digital signal processing theory and applications.
• Experience interfacing FPGA code with existing codebases and software.
• Knowledge of signal-processing blocks and DSP components.
• Linux, C, and C++ coding skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vivado.
• Experience with the Epiq Solution PDK.
