Senior Systems Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid role based at either the Southampton, UK or Jersey, CI office; office attendance is required at least twice per week and full-time during probation.

What you will do

• Work with client-facing teams to elicit requirements and configure core systems and financial reporting applications.
• Support projects and client engagements through meetings, documentation, progress updates, and scope management.
• Design and develop system configurations, reports, integrations, automation, and solutions for complex or ambiguous requirements.
• Triage service requests and incidents, provide third-level support, and coordinate priorities, escalations, and resource allocation.
• Test applications and reports, perform system integration testing and reconciliations, and complete four-eyes reviews of changes.
• Improve internal processes, follow change management procedures, lead peer meetings, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of strong technical knowledge in the financial services industry.
• Essential experience with private equity products, particularly the eFront Invest and Investment Cafe applications.
• Experience or proficiency with VBA, VBScript, SAS, JavaScript, and Transact-SQL.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Part or fully qualified in a relevant professional or IT qualification, such as ACCA, ACA, or CGI.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and methodical skills, with an interest in technology and systems.

• Previous business experience in private equity or real assets.
