TL;DR
Senior Systems Analyst (Financial Services): Delivering and improving ’s client servicing applications suite with an accent on requirements elicitation, system configuration, and financial reporting. Focus on triaging service requests/incidents, designing solutions for complex requirements, and supporting integration testing and deployments to improve operational efficiency.
Location: St Helier; based at either Southampton (UK) or Jersey (CI) office with a hybrid work model (expected in the office at least twice per week during probation).

What you will do
- Elicit detailed requirements with client-facing teams and support scoping, breakdown of work, and quoting for enhancements to core systems and the financial reporting suite.
- Provide point-of-contact support across business areas and support project engagements with updates via meetings and project documentation.
- Interpret complex/ambiguous requirements to specify, design, and develop solutions through system configuration and reporting, including user support for data input errors.
- Triage service requests and incidents, assess whether issues are data- or user-related, manage complexity/timeframes/priority, and ensure timely assignment and escalation handling.
- Perform system integration testing (SIT) and reconciliation activities, including 4-eyes review of changes and focus on trainee-assigned SRs.
- Deliver third-level support for SRs/incidents and enhancements, support change management documentation/testing/approval/deployment, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of strong technical knowledge in the financial services industry.
- Exposure to private equity products is essential, particularly the eFront suite (eFront Invest and Investment Cafe).
- Part or fully qualified in a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CGI) or relevant IT qualification.
- Experience/proficiency with programming languages such as VBA & VB Script, SAS, JavaScript, and Transact SQL.
- Advanced PC skills, notably MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel).
- Ability to work from the office at least twice per week while full-time during probation (based in Southampton, UK or Jersey, CI).
