What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a finance team of four, driving accountability and growth.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring robust processes and controls across the business.
• Manage all tax, VAT, and transfer pricing requirements for UK and European regulatory obligations.
• Own balance sheet integrity and lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage external reporting, including annual audits, corporation tax filings, and financial reporting to Nestlé Purina.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash flow management, and banking relationships.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience in a Financial Controller or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance.
• Proven experience leading and motivating a finance team to meet demanding deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in forecasting, cash flow management, and payroll oversight.
• Must be based in or able to work in Richmond, UK (Hybrid).
