What you will do

• Ensure trading-related balance sheet and P&L positions are accurately recorded in compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting Policies.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between SAP ERP trading results and Product Control estimates, investigating and resolving variances.
• Support the governance of financial netting processes and ensure derivative trading balances are accurately represented.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting, analysis, and business commentary for designated business units.
• Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, and Accounting teams to support new business initiatives and trading structures.
• Drive continuous improvement across trading finance processes, controls, and data quality.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience accounting for and controlling financial and physical commodity derivatives.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements within a trading environment.
• Extensive experience working with SAP ERP, including foreign currency accounting and complex balance sheet substantiation.
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong stakeholder management skills.
