TL;DR
Financial Accountant (Financial Reporting/Excel): Managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting across the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow with an accent on reconciliations, analysis, controls, and reporting accuracy. Focus on automating reporting processes with Excel and data tools, investigating variances, and improving financial operations in a fast-paced multinational business.

What you will do
- Own key areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting cycle.
- Prepare and improve balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, and working papers.
- Analyse balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow performance, investigating variances and identifying risks or opportunities.
- Build and automate reporting processes using Excel and other data tools.
- Partner with Finance Operations, FP&A, and wider Finance teams to improve financial information.
- Support audit, governance, controls, and wider Finance improvement projects.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent certification.
- Relevant experience in financial reporting, management accounting, or a similar finance environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting across the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex financial data and large datasets.
- Experience improving reporting processes, automating manual tasks, and maintaining accurate financial controls.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power Query, Alteryx, or similar data tools.
- Experience in a fast-paced, multinational, or listed environment.
- Exposure to post-acquisition change.
