What you will do

• Manage the annual accounting cycle, including consolidated reporting and year-end financial statements for the Group and subsidiaries.
• Lead and execute the Group audit to ensure efficiency and adherence to the timetable.
• Oversee the management accounts team and the month-end close process.
• Ensure tax and VAT compliance, working with external advisors on returns and R&D claims.
• Draft technical accounting papers for complex transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, and restructuring.
• Provide technical accounting support and advice on IFRS matters to senior management.

Requirements

• ACA or equivalent qualified accountant with minimum 5 years PQE.
• Previous experience as Head of Reporting or Senior Manager in a Group reporting team.
• Deep expertise in IFRS accounting and producing external financial statements.
• Proven track record of delivering audits on time.
• Experience dealing with Corporation Tax and VAT.
• Strong stakeholder management skills for liaising with auditors and tax advisors.
