Senior Cost Manager (Mechanical, Data Center)

What you will do

• Participate in the tender/bid process from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage change processes by identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes affecting project cost.
• Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Support preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling claims to secure best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments and oversee project spend via valuations and cost reports.
• Support settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency, and mentor team performance.

Requirements

• Experience as a senior cost manager, ideally from a consultancy background.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management and budget control, including cost planning and preparing/initiating change forms with project stakeholders.
• Chartered status or being on the path to complete it (company support available).
• Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
