Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Location: Onsite in Franklin, Pennsylvania, USA

What you will do

• Document fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes using models, drawings, and text descriptions.
• Manage global SAP fixture databases, manufacturing programs, burn profiles, routings, and costing data.
• Design welding, machining, and assembly fixtures to reduce cost and lead time and improve quality.
• Create work instructions, routers, three-dimensional part and fixture drawings, and plate burn profiles.
• Lead operator and supplier training on tooling, welding methods, and fixture use.
• Process manufacturing engineering changes and initiate drawing change requests with design engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred, or 10–15 years of manufacturing experience.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing engineering, fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
• Experience with SAP programs, manufacturing databases, costing, routings, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and track work requests from multiple sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain manufacturing concepts on the shop floor.
• Ability to collaborate productively with manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, global sites, and suppliers.
